Why is my Hyundai Elantra AC not blowing cold air during peak summer in Pakistan?
Even after setting the temperature to the lowest and turning the fan to full speed, the AC in my Hyundai Elantra is only blowing slightly cool o r warm air. This issue is most noticeable during extremely hot afternoons over 40°C. What could be the main reasons for this in the context of Pakistan’s weather and environment?

In Pakistan’s extreme summer temperatures — especially in cities like Lahore, Multan, o r Islamabad — your Hyundai Elantra’s AC system may struggle to blow cold air due to:
Overheating condenser: In 40°C+ heat, the condenser may not cool refrigerant efficiently, especially in stop-and-go traffic.
Low refrigerant levels: The refrigerant may have leaked o r degraded over time, reducing cooling performance.
Weak blower motor: Even with a cold evaporator, a weak blower may not circulate air properly.
Lack of insulation o r tint: Direct sunlight can overheat the cabin, overpowering even a fully functional AC.
What to do:
Have a mechanic check the refrigerant pressure, compressor performance, and cooling fan operation. Also, consider applying UV-protective film to windows and parking in shade.
