Why is my Hyundai Elantra’s A/C not blowing cold air during the day in hot weather?

I drive a 2021 Hyundai Elantra in Lahore, and the air conditioner stops cooling properly during the afternoon, especially in traffic. The air blows but its not cold. Could the extreme heat o r stop-and-go driving in Pakistani cities be affecting the A/C system? What should I check first?
