Why is my Suzuki Every leaking coolant from the front side of the engine?

eres coolant leaking near the front of the engine block, close to the fan belt area. A mechanic said it might be the water pump. How can I confirm if its the water pump leaking and not a hose o r gasket?

Coolant leaking from the front of the engine near the belts o r pulleys is a strong sign of a leaking water pump. This area is exactly where the water pump is located in most Suzuki Every models. Possible causes include:

A worn water pump seal o r gasket

A cracked pump housing

Loose o r worn bearing inside the pump causing leakage from the weep hole
To confirm, look underneath the vehicle for drips, and check if the leak appears near the timing belt o r serpentine belt area. A mechanic can also pressure test the cooling system to pinpoint the leak source.
