Why is my Suzuki Every’s paint peeling near the windows o r doors?

Some users report peeling o r flaking paint around window seals, door edges, and sliding door tracks. Is this caused by poor paint adhesion, moisture build-up, o r improper repainting after import?

Peeling paint near trim, windows, o r sliding doors usually results from poor adhesion, often due to bad prep work during repainting o r moisture build-up under the paint.

Common causes:

Repainted imports where cheap local paint was applied without proper primer.

Water ingress around window seals leads to bubbling and flaking.

Frequent use of power washers around door edges.

Solutions:

Scrape and sand down the affected area.

Repaint using automotive-grade primer, base, and clear coat.

Use rubber sealant maintenance to prevent water from entering gaps.
