Why Is the Air Conditioning System Not Cooling Properly?

The A/C system in the Suzuki Every may sometimes blow warm air o r not cool effectively. What are the typical reasons—like low refrigerant, compressor failure, o r clogged filters—and how should a mechanic approach diagnosing and repairing the issue?

When the A/C system in your Suzuki Every isn’t cooling, the usual culprits are:

Low refrigerant levels: Caused by leaks in hoses o r seals.

Clogged cabin air filter: Reduces airflow inside the vehicle.

Compressor failure: If the compressor isn’t engaging, refrigerant won’t circulate.

Electrical issues: A blown fuse o r bad relay can prevent the A/C system from activating.

Faulty expansion valve o r evaporator core: These can restrict refrigerant flow.

Fix: Start with a pressure test to check for refrigerant leaks. Clean o r replace the cabin air filter, and have a mechanic test the compressor and other components.
