Why Is the Haval H6s Fuel Economy Lower Than Advertised?

Despite official claims of 5.2L/100km combined fuel consumption, many Haval H6 owners in Pakistan report real-world figures ranging from 7 to 11L/100km. This discrepancy raises concerns about the vehicles efficiency and potential emissions impact.

The Haval H6s real-world fuel economy often falls short of the manufacturers claims. For instance, the 1.5T petrol variant averages around 10–11 km/l in urban conditions, while the 2.0T AWD variant achieves approximately 10.5 km/l. These figures are lower than the official estimates of 15–16 km/l for the HEV and 11 km/l for the 1.5T petrol variant

. Factors contributing to this discrepancy include driving habits, road conditions, and vehicle load.
