Honda CR Z Sports Hybrid 1st Generation Overview

The 1st Generation Honda CR-Z was launched in 2011 as a sporty 2-door hybrid hatchback. It was Honda's third hybrid electric vehicle, after the Insight and Civic Hybrid, and the first of its kind to feature a hybrid drivetrain in its class.

Exterior

The 2015 Honda CR-Z boasts a unique design language that stands out from the crowd. Its sharp trapezium-styled LED headlights, large trapezium grille, circular fog lights at the front, and triangular side swept taillights at the rear make it an eye-catching car.

Interior

The interior of the 1st Generation Honda CR-Z is designed with black plastic trim pieces, while the front and rear seats are covered with a combination of fabric and leather that features red contrast stitching. The car comes equipped with standard features such as 6 airbags, a 4 speaker 2 tweeter stereo speaker system, keyless entry, cruise control, automatic climate control, power door mirrors, a multi-information display, and a multi-function steering wheel. Optional features include satellite navigation.

Engine

The Honda CR-Z 2015 is powered by a 1.5-liter SOHC 16 Valve Inline-4 + Hybrid Synergy engine. It is available with two gearbox options: a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT automatic with paddle shifters.

The Honda CR-Z delivers good performance thanks to its hybrid powertrain, which provides a combined output of 120bhp@6000RPM. The car also has agile handling, making it fun to drive on winding roads.
