Toyota Corona 8th Generation Overview
The 8th Generation Toyota Corona was introduced in 1987 and was available in three variants: a 4-door sedan, a 5-door liftback, and a 5-door station wagon. It was in production for 7 years, from 1987 to 1992, and available in two versions: a 4-door sedan and a 4-door station wagon.
Exterior
The exterior design of the 1987 Toyota Corona is restrained and minimalistic, with slim rectangular headlights, a large chrome rectangular grille, and a rectangular air intake. The rear end features rectangular taillights and an outward-sticking bumper. The 4-door station wagon has a slightly longer body to accommodate the large rear tailgate, but the styling is otherwise identical to the sedan.
Interior
The interior of the 1987 Toyota Corona features black plastic trim pieces and fabric-covered front and rear seats. The DX variant has a stereo speaker audio system and a tachometer, while the higher-end GX variant includes power steering and power-adjustable door mirrors. The MX variant has power windows, power door locks, and an adjustable steering wheel. The overall interior space is decent.
