Electrify America Offers Free Charging for Kia's EV9
Kia and Electrify America have jointly announced an enticing offer for first-time purchasers of the 2024 Kia EV9 in the United States. Buyers will receive a substantial perk of 1,000 kWh in complimentary charging within the extensive Electrify America network.
This complimentary 1,000 kWh allowance can be availed at any of the 3,000-plus Electrify America charging stations nationwide. Accessible through the Electrify America app, this allowance serves a dual purpose, enabling users not only to make payments but also to locate charging stations and check charger statuses. It's important to note that this benefit excludes initiating charging via the interface screen or buttons on the charger.
However, certain conditions apply to the offer. Idle fees and applicable taxes assessed at the charging station are not covered by this benefit. Upon reaching the 1,000 kWh limit, the vehicle will seamlessly transition to charging at the current Electrify America rate.
Purchasers of the 2024 Kia EV9 have a three-year window from the date of purchase to utilize this charging allowance. Notably, there are no restrictions on the number of eligible charging sessions or the kWh amount available per session. This promotion marks the EV9 as the third Kia model to enjoy such benefits, following the Niro and the EV6. Kia continues to incentivize the adoption of electric vehicles, making sustainable driving more accessible for consumers.
