Hi Speed bikes have carved out a niche in Pakistan with their diverse range of street bikes, regular motorcycles, and naked bikes. Recently, we had the chance to review the Hi Speed Batllo 200cc, a new entrant to the Pakistani market. Here is an in-depth owner review of this model.

Choosing the Hi Speed Batllo

Young riders often pursue their street biking dreams with great enthusiasm. The owner of the Batllo 200cc previously had a YBR G 125 but wanted a different look and feel this time. After considering options like Benelli and various replicas, he found Benelli to be too expensive and the replicas unsuitable. Hi Speed appeared to be a reliable choice, despite the bike's cost of around 7 lacs, which is a significant expenditure.

Design and Aesthetics

The Hi Speed Batllo's design is inspired by the iconic KTM Duke. It features a sleek color scheme of black with neon highlights. The bike comes with alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes, and an all-plastic body, eliminating the need for fairings. The seating arrangement is comfortable, with an elevated pillion seat and back support for the front seat, making it ideal for long-distance rides.

Engine Specifications and Performance

The 2024 Batllo is powered by a 200cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine paired with a 5-speed transmission. It generates an impressive 17+ HP, with a strong engine kick. The bike reaches a top speed of 103 km/hr and provides a fuel economy of 35 km/l in city driving and 25 to 28 km/l when driven sportily.

Maintenance and Parts Availability

One downside of the Batllo is its high tuning cost, which is around 5000, much higher than other bikes. Additionally, spare parts are not easily available, which means that any repairs could leave the bike out of commission for 2 to 3 months.

Final Thoughts

The owner recommends keeping the exhaust stock to avoid potential issues. Overall, the Hi Speed Batllo offers a comfortable riding experience, effective braking, and excellent power. If you are passionate about naked bikes and have a flexible budget, this bike is a solid choice.
