Latest Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan - 16 Sep 2025

The federal government has issued a fresh Pakistan petroleum price update, announcing revised rates of petrol and diesel under its fortnightly fuel pricing mechanism.

According to the notification from the Ministry of Finance, the Petrol price in Pakistan will remain unchanged at Rs. 264.61 per litre, giving relief to motorists. However, the High speed diesel price Pakistan has been raised by Rs. 2.78, bringing the new diesel price in Pakistan to Rs. 272.77 per litre. Diesel is heavily used in the transport and agriculture sectors, which means the hike may impact overall costs.

Previous Fuel Prices in Pakistan

In the earlier Pakistan fuel price revision, the government reduced Diesel price in Pakistan by Rs. 3, setting it at Rs. 269.99, while the petrol price today Pakistan stayed at Rs. 264.61. At that time, the kerosene oil price Pakistan was reduced by Rs. 1.46 to Rs. 176.81 per litre, and the light diesel oil price Pakistan was cut by Rs. 2.40 to Rs. 159.76 per litre.
