MG Cyberster 2024: Modern Design and Interior Highlights

The MG Cyberster 2024 stands out as a fully electric roadster, initially announced last year but making its debut in the European market this year. It offers a unique blend of performance and pricing, making it difficult to find direct competitors. With a starting price of €64,000, the Cyberster delivers exceptional acceleration, surpassing many second-hand ICE roadsters available in the same price bracket. This vehicle isn’t just about affordability; it redefines the balance between performance, design, and innovation in the EV segment.

Trims and Performance Options
The MG Cyberster comes in two trims: Trophy and GT, each designed for different driving preferences. The Trophy trim offers a single motor delivering 347 hp and RWD, while the GT trim includes a dual-motor setup with AWD, producing 503 hp. The GT boasts superior acceleration, reaching 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, compared to the Trophy’s still-impressive performance. Both trims highlight MG Cyberster Design and Features that cater to car enthusiasts seeking thrilling driving experiences.

Interior and User Experience
The MG Cyberster Interior is both premium and driver-centric, showcasing quality materials typically found in higher-priced vehicles. Features like scissor doors, an automatic roof, and a well-thought-out cockpit elevate the driving experience. However, some design elements could use refinement. For instance, the gear switch and passenger handle take up excessive space, and the touch display is partially obstructed. Additionally, the infotainment screens near the instrument cluster are somewhat hidden by the steering wheel, impacting usability.

Technical Highlights and Practicality
The MG Cyberster Interior Review reveals impressive specifications, including a 74 kWh battery available in both RWD and AWD configurations. Charging is efficient, with 10-80% achievable in just 38 minutes using 144 kW CCS. The car offers a range of 509 km for RWD and 444 km for AWD (WLTP). While the trunk space is decent for its class at 250 liters, the lack of a front trunk (frunk) limits overall storage. Despite its practicality constraints, the MG Cyberster Features include a V2L option, enabling users to power appliances on the go.

Conclusion: A Value-Packed Electric Roadster
The MG Cyberster Design blends innovation and performance at a competitive price. While the Trophy trim offers great value, the GT trim provides a higher level of power and driving thrill for just €5,000 more. Although it has minor usability quirks, the Cyberster excels in delivering a premium feel, advanced features, and an exhilarating driving experience. For EV enthusiasts prioritizing performance and design over practicality, the MG Cyberster 2024 is a standout choice in the electric roadster segment.
