Punjab Excise Department Issued Standard Number Plates

The government of Punjab has taken a very important step regarding the number plates issues in the province. According to details, the Punjab Excise, Taxation and Norcotics Control department, Government of Punjab has officially launched the standard number plates for the vehicles across the province. The department has also released an official notification in this regard.

According to the notification, the customers will now able to book their standard number plates for their vehicles from the official website of the Excise department. According to announcement, the department will issue the temporary number plates from the next work for the observation Purpose. The permanent number plates will be delivered till the end of March 2021.

The notification issued by department further explains that the masses will receive their standard number plates on the first come first receive basis. The Excise department will then inform the customers via SMS to get their number plates. The department will guide them where and how will they receive their number plates.

According to the Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation, Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed explained that the initiative to issue standard number plates was taken under the instructions of the Provincial Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar and the special efforts of National Radio and Communication.

“Consumers had to wait for number plates due to the incompetence of the previous government. We worked day and night to make number plates available to the public”.
