2nd Generation Toyota land Cruiser Prado
1996 is the year of introduction of the 2nd Generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. This 7 seater SUV is a front engine four wheel drive that was especially designed to perform well in harsh off-road conditions. There are two body styles in the 2nd gen Prado including a smaller 3 door SUV and a normal 5 door SUV. The variants of 3 door are RX and RZ while TX and TZ are the variants of the 5 door. The 2nd generation Toyota Prado available in the said price range contains features like electric powered mirrors, front electric heated seats, sunroof, leather upholstery and climate control. There are lots of engine options in the 2nd Gen Prado like a 2.7 liter inline-4 with 150bhp, a 3.4 liter V6 with 177bhp, 4 different 3.01 inline-4 diesel engines and few others. 11th Generation Toyota Corolla
In July 2014, the 11th Generation Toyota Corolla was launched in Pakistan while Toyota Indus released facelift of 11th gen Corolla few days ago in which several new features were introduced along with updated design. The starting price of a new facelifted Toyota Corolla Altis Grande is around PKR 24 lacs. 16” alloy rims, front dual airbags, smart entry, LED projection headlamps with daytime running lights, side skirts, push start, vehicle stability control and a new 9” touch screen infotainment system are important features on the new Grande.


10th Generation Honda Civic
Recently, the 10th Generation Honda Civic was introduced in Pakistan. The 10th Gen Honda Civic has a new, aggressive and stylish design which makes it superior to its competitors. There are two engines in the 10th generation Civic including a naturally aspirated 1.8 liter inline-4 and a 1.5 liter turbocharged inline-4. But currently 1.8 liter is the only engine option available as 1.5 liter engine is temporarily discontinued due to few issues. This currently available engine produces 140bhp. The starting price of Honda Civic 1.8 i-VTEC is Rs. 2,349,000.


11th Generation Toyota Corolla Axio
In 2012, the 11th Generation Toyota Corolla Axio was launched. This flagship Corolla variant is a front engine four wheel drive sedan. There are 4 variants of 11th generation Toyota Corolla Axio including Hybrid, Luxel, X and G. Due to different engines and specs, these variants are divided in several subsets. Axio is available with 1.5 liter 107bhp and 1.3 liter 94bhp engines. 1.5L Hybrid model is also there. Trip computer, power windows, a stereo system and 4 airbags are included in base X model while climate control feature is available in the higher G variant. You can get few other technologies as an option like parking sensors, satellite navigation, heated seats, cruise control, traction control, push start, a rear view camera and a collision mitigation system. Rs. 23-24 lacs is the price of higher end Toyota Corolla Axio Hybrid with less than 50,000 km distance covered.


Honda BR-V
Recently in April 2017, the Honda BR-V was introduced in Pakistan and it can be called as a cheaper version of more expensive SUVs in the market. i-VTEC and i-VTEC S are the two variants of the BR-V. The BR-V has a standard 1.5 liter 16 valve i-VTEC engine with 145 Nm of torque and 117bhp. There are seating for 7 people inside and it include features like touch screen infotainment system with satellite navigation, driver side airbags, digital climate control, rear air ventilation, retractable side view mirrors, and rear view camera. The price of BR-V is Rs. 2,229,000 for i-VTEC and Rs. 2,320,000 for i-VTEC S version.


2nd Generation Toyota Premio
2007 was the year of introduction of the 2nd Generation Toyota Premio which is a mid size luxury front engine 4 wheel drive sedan primarily available in Japan. X, F and G are the three variants of Premio. Important features in the car are power windows, automatic climate control, traction control, dual front air bags and cruise control. The higher end variants will additionally feature power mirrors, a sunroof, xenon headlights, satellite navigation and leather upholstery. This 2nd generation Toyota Premio is available in three different engines of 2.0 liter inline-4 with 150bhp, a 1.8 liter inline-4 with 140bhp and a 1.5 liter inline-4 with 107bhp. Rs. 24 lacs is the price of Toyota Premio X with 75,000 km distance coverage.
