Suzuki Swift 4th Generation Overview

In March 2017 at Geneva Motor Show, the 4th generation Suzuki Swift was launched. The new swift is light weight body car as it is based on new generation platform “HEARTECH”. As compared to the older swift, the new generation has a different look. Currently, Pak Suzuki is selling the 2nd generation of Swift which means that 4th generation will not be available soon in Pakistan. Exterior
This 4th generation swift has the same small but looking shape like the previous models of swift. It looks premium and unique due to the addition of visual equipments like chrome grill, LED-DLRs, LED-tail Lamps and projector-head lamps. As compared to the previous model of swift, this latest model looks sportier. This 4th generation swift has longer length, width and wheelbase.

Interior
Interior of the latest Swift also looks prettier than before. The new additions in the latest generation swift are highlighting of steering wheel and gearbox with silver color coating center console, automatic climate control, cool glove box and steering mounted controls. In order to show different information to the driver, the speedometer has now mounted color TFT display.

Engine & Fuel Efficiency
Main types of 4th generation Swift is a 3 cylinder 1.0 liter booster jet engine, SVS Hybrid, KB12 1.2L petrol and diesel engines of 1.3L and 1.5L. It is expected that Pakistanis will see the KB12 1.2L engine Swift. It has 84HP which is less than 90HP of the current Swift available in Pakistan but it can compensate due to lesser weight. The expected fuel consumption of the said vehicle is 20 km/l.
Price
According to the current pricing pattern in Pakistan, it is expected that the price of this 4th generation Swift will be between 1.6 million to 1.8 million PKR for the base model. it will make this car acceptable for many buyers.
