. Why Is the United Bravo’s Engine Performance Weak When the Car Is Fully Loaded?

Many United Bravo owners report that the car struggles to maintain speed o r climb hills when carrying full passengers o r cargo. The 796cc engine often feels underpowered in such situations, especially with the A/C turned on. The United Bravo is equipped with a small 796cc three-cylinder engine, which is primarily designed for fuel efficiency and city driving—not for carrying heavy loads. When the car is fully occupied with passengers o r cargo, the engine struggles to generate enough torque, especially on inclines o r when the air conditioner is running.

Main Causes:

Low engine power output around 40–42 hp

Weak torque around 60 Nm, which limits pulling strength

Added strain from air conditioning and hilly terrain

Heavier body weight compared to competitors like Suzuki Alto

Solutions & Tips:

Drive in lower gears when climbing hills o r overtaking to maintain momentum.

Avoid overloading beyond the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.

Ensure regular engine tuning for maximum power output.

Keep tires properly inflated to reduce engine strain.

Turn off the A/C temporarily when extra power is needed.
