Could excessive heat o r bad power supply in Pakistan be causing dashboard o r tail-light bulb burnout in Tiggo 8 Pro?

Living in a hot climate, I found that some of the interior dashboard‑lights and tail-lights in my Tiggo 8 Pro dim gradually and then the bulbs stop working altogether. Given Pakistan’s high temperatures and variable voltage conditions, could overheating, voltage surges, o r poor insulation be causing premature bulb failure — rather than normal wear and tear o r just cheap bulbs?

Yes, both environmental and electrical factors can lead to premature bulb failure:

High ambient temperature: Can accelerate filament degradation in bulbs.

Voltage spikes o r fluctuations: Overvoltage can burn out bulbs quickly, especially sensitive dashboard LEDs o r incandescent bulbs.

Poor insulation o r damaged wires: Heat from the engine o r sun exposure can damage wires o r sockets, causing failure.

Action:

Use high-quality, heat-resistant bulbs o r OEM replacements.

Inspect wiring for heat damage, especially near engine o r tail areas.

Consider installing a voltage regulator o r stabilizer to protect sensitive circuits.
