Why do I sometimes feel vibrations o r pulsations through the brake pedal when stopping in my Tiggo 8 Pro?

Occasionally, when I apply brakes — especially at higher speeds — I feel a slight vibration o r “mild pulsing” through the brake pedal or a subtle shake in the steering rather than a smooth stop. Could this signal uneven o r worn brake pads, warped rotors, o r caliper issues? How does worn brake‑pad material o r uneven wear lead to these pulsations, and what should I inspect to rule out problems?

Brake pedal vibrations typically result from uneven contact between pads and rotors:

Warped rotors: Heat o r age can warp rotors, causing pulsations.

Uneven o r worn pads: Uneven friction material can lead to inconsistent braking forces.

Caliper issues: Sticking calipers may cause uneven pad pressure on the rotor.

Action:

Inspect rotors for warping o r thickness variation resurface o r replace as needed.

Check brake pads for uneven wear replace if necessary.

Ensure calipers slide freely and apply even pressure.
