How can I detect a slow radiator leak in my Mini Cooper in Pakistan?

My Mini Cooper sometimes overheats, but I don’t see obvious coolant puddles. Could I have a slow radiator leak? What are the symptoms of minor leaks, and how can I accurately check for them given the dusty and hot conditions in Pakistan?

Slow leaks may not leave visible puddles but can still cause engine problems. Signs include:

Gradual in coolant level without visible leaks.

Frequent engine overheating, especially in traffic o r hot weather.

White o r green residue around radiator seams, hoses, o r the water pump.

Sweet smell of antifreeze inside the engine bay o r cabin.

Detection Methods:

Use a cooling system pressure tester to identify small leaks.

Inspect hoses, radiator, and clamps for dampness o r residue.

Check under the car for occasional drips after running the engine.

Consider professional inspection if the leak is not obvious.

Prevention:

Regularly flush and replace coolant to prevent corrosion.

Avoid over-tightening o r under-tightening clamps.

Keep the engine bay clean to spot leaks early.
