How often should I replace Mini Cooper brake pads in Pakistan?

: I’m unsure about the replacement interval for brake pads in my Mini Cooper, especially considering Pakistan’s heavy traffic and rough roads. What is the recommended replacement schedule for both front and rear brake pads, and are there any signs that indicate I need to replace them sooner?

Brake pad replacement intervals depend on driving conditions and pad type:

Typical range: 30,000–50,000 km for front pads, 40,000–60,000 km for rear pads.

Pakistan-specific conditions: Heavy traffic, rough roads, and frequent braking may require inspection every 15,000–20,000 km and replacement sooner.

Signs for early replacement: Squealing, grinding, longer stopping distances, o r reduced pedal responsiveness.

Maintenance Tips:

Inspect pads every 10,000 km if driving mostly in urban conditions.

Always use recommended Mini Cooper pads for best performance and longevity.

Monitor brake fluid levels and condition low fluid can indicate excessive pad wear.
