Why are my Mini Cooper brake pads wearing out quickly in Pakistan?

I drive my Mini Cooper mostly in congested city traffic in Lahore and Karachi, and I’ve noticed that the brake pads seem to wear out faster than expected. Could local traffic conditions, road quality, o r driving style be causing this accelerated wear? What can I do to extend the life of my brake pads?

Accelerated brake pad wear in Mini Coopers in Pakistan is usually caused by:

Heavy city traffic: Frequent stop-and-go driving in cities like Lahore and Karachi causes more friction and faster wear.

Rough o r uneven roads: Potholes and speed bumps increase brake usage and stress pads.

Driving style: Aggressive braking o r carrying heavy loads wears pads faster.

Brake quality: Non-genuine o r low-quality aftermarket pads may wear out sooner.

Prevention Tips:

Use genuine Mini Cooper o r high-quality aftermarket brake pads.

Avoid harsh braking whenever possible.

Regularly inspect brake pads for wear, especially if driving in urban Pakistani traffic.
