Sometimes Tiggo 8 Pro starts only on 2nd o r 3rd try — is the starter motor failing?

The car sometimes refuses to start on the first attempt: I turn the key, maybe hear a click, o r nothing at all — then on a second o r third try it starts normally. This irregular behaviour seems to be getting more frequent. Could this intermittent starting indicate worn-out internals brushes, solenoid in the starter motor, o r perhaps a loose/poor connection o r grounding issue?

Intermittent starting can be caused by:

Worn starter motor brushes o r solenoid: Poor internal contact may fail on the first attempt.

Loose o r corroded battery/starter cables: Slight vibrations may break contact temporarily.

Battery under load issues: Battery may show normal voltage but not supply enough current initially.

Faulty starter relay o r ignition switch: Intermittent contacts may delay starter operation.

Action: Clean and tighten all connections, test battery under load, check the starter relay. Replace the starter only if internal faults are confirmed.
