“Why Do Minor Scratches Turn Into Visible Marks — Is the Paint o r Clear Coat Too Weak?”

Some people say that even light scratches — like from a branch, shopping bags, o r brushing against a wall — leave visible marks on Tiggo 8 Pro’s body that don’t buff out easily. Does the paint / clear coat finish seem weak, o r maybe poorly applied? o r is the problem that cleaning and polishing methods used locally worsen the scratches?

Minor scratches are more visible because:

Clear coat may be relatively soft and can show marks from brushing against walls, branches, o r shopping carts.

Darker colors black, blue, gray reveal scratches more than lighter shades.

Cleaning methods rough cloths o r abrasive sponges can make small scratches deeper.

How to reduce visibility:

Apply regular wax o r sealant to protect the paint surface.

Use soft microfiber cloths for washing.

For light scratches, polishing o r scratch-remover compounds can restore shine.

Consider ceramic coating o r PPF on high-contact areas for extra protection.
