Why do power locks sometimes respond with delay o r work intermittently, especially in hot/humid weather?
Sometimes the door locks on my Tiggo 8 Pro don’t work immediately — I press lock/unlock and nothing happens. After a minute o r two or after doing it a couple of times, they respond. This tends to occur more often in summer heat o r humid conditions. Could moisture, heat‑related expansion, weak electrical connections, o r a failing actuator motor cause this sporadic behavior — and what should I check to confirm the problem?

Intermittent o r delayed operation is often due to environmental o r electrical issues:
Moisture ingress: Humidity o r water can corrode connectors o r actuator contacts.
Heat-related expansion: High temperatures can temporarily affect electrical resistance o r mechanical movement.
Weak actuator motor: An aging motor may operate inconsistently under varying conditions.
Loose wiring o r connectors: Movement and temperature changes can create intermittent connections.
Action:
Inspect and clean all connectors and harnesses for corrosion.
Test the actuator under different temperatures.
Replace the actuator if it consistently fails under normal conditions.
