“Why Does My Tiggo 8 Pro Struggle to Start After Short Drives — Is the Battery Never Getting Charged?”

“Why Does My Tiggo 8 Pro Struggle to Start After Short Drives — Is the Battery Never Getting Charged?”

For owners who drive short distances frequently city traffic, small errands, the car sometimes struggles to start after just a day o r two — even if the battery was fine before. Could this be because the battery never gets fully recharged alternator output + short drives, causing gradual draining? o r might there be a weak battery o r poor wiring/terminal connection causing the battery to lose charge quickly between drives?

Short city drives can prevent the battery from fully charging:

Alternator needs time to fully recharge a partially depleted battery frequent short trips may leave the battery partially discharged.

Weak battery: Older o r low-capacity batteries may not recover fully, leading to hard starts.

Poor connections: Loose o r corroded terminals reduce charging efficiency.

Tips to prevent:

Occasionally take a longer drive to allow full battery recharge.

Ensure battery terminals are clean and tight.

Consider a higher-capacity o r maintenance-free battery for frequent city driving.
