Why Does the United Bravo Engine Show Poor Fuel Efficiency and Low Power Output?
Despite being a small 800cc car, many owners report disappointing fuel economy and sluggish acceleration. This problem is usually caused by poor air-fuel mixture calibration, dirty injectors, weak spark plugs, o r a malfunctioning oxygen sensor. In some cases, using cheap o r contaminated fuel worsens the problem. What steps can Bravo owners take to restore the engine’s performance and improve fuel efficiency?

Gari Master - on 31 Oct 2025 11:27:14 amMany Bravo owners find that their cars consume more fuel than expected for an 800cc engine and lack power when climbing o r overtaking. This typically happens due to faulty sensors, dirty air filters, o r bad fuel injection tuning. Poor maintenance and the use of substandard lubricants can also lower engine performance.
Main Causes:
Dirty o r clogged air filter
Faulty oxygen O2 sensor o r mass air flow sensor
Weak spark plugs o r dirty fuel injectors
Low-quality o r old engine oil
Solutions & Prevention:
Replace the air filter and spark plugs regularly every 10,000 km.
Use good quality 10W-40 o r 20W-50 engine oil depending on weather.
Have the fuel system and throttle body cleaned by a professional.
Use genuine engine sensors instead of cheap substitutes.
Keep the car tuned periodically to maintain proper air-fuel balance.
