Why does the window switch click but the window glass doesn’t move or moves slowly?

I press the button for the window driver o r passenger door, and I can hear a “click” from inside the door, but the glass does not go up o r down — o r it moves extremely slowly. This happens even though the fuse seems OK and other windows work fine. Could the window motor o r regulator be failing? o r might it be a wiring, friction o r track‑lubrication problem inside the door mechanism of Tiggo 8 Pro?

When you hear a click but the glass doesn’t move o r moves slowly, the issue is often mechanical o r electrical:

Worn o r weak window motor: The motor may struggle to move the glass, especially if it’s old o r exposed to heat/humidity.

Dirty o r dry window tracks: Friction can prevent smooth movement dust and debris common in Pakistan can worsen this.

Faulty window regulator: The regulator mechanism that moves the glass may be jammed o r worn.

Loose o r corroded wiring connections: Poor contact can reduce motor power.

Action:

Inspect and clean window tracks, apply silicone lubricant.

Test the motor by supplying direct voltage to see if it moves freely.

Replace motor o r regulator if they fail to operate under direct power.
