Great Sedan But Not Reliable
Jan 04 2025The Alsvin offers many excellent features, including ride comfort, effective noise dampening in the cabin, super soft power steering, a convenient trunk opener, user-friendly controls, fuel efficiency, and stylish, elegant looks. However, there are some notable drawbacks I’ve experienced with my brand-new 1.3 MT Comfort Hatchback.
The welcome headlights automatically turn on every time I unlock the car with the remote, unnecessarily draining the battery. Additionally, the car has low ground clearance, and the battery often dies if the car is left unused for 3-5 days, requiring a jump-start to get it running again. This issue seems common among other users, even with the 1.5L DCT variant, and replacing the battery doesn’t resolve it. Unfortunately, the company has not provided a solution for this problem.
Other concerns include the high cost of spare parts and low resale value. Due to these issues, particularly the battery and electrical reliability, I find the car less dependable overall. While the Alsvin has many appealing features, its reliability needs significant improvement.
