A Good Car But A Worst Aftersale
Nov 16 2024Owning a car comes with its share of issues, but the way a company handles these problems is what really matters. Unfortunately, my experience with the Kia 6000D has been less than satisfactory due to unresolved issues, despite multiple attempts to get them addressed.
Foggy Lights:
The fog lights are consistently fogging up, yet Kia Kingsgate seems to think its a non-issue. They’ve shown no willingness to fix it, leaving me frustrated with the lack of proper customer service.
Excessive Smoke Emission:
Another major concern is the extraordinary amount of smoke the vehicle emits when stationary for a few hours. While the smoke dissipates after driving for about 8-10 km, it continues to pour out in idle mode even after the car has been running for an extended period. I left the vehicle running for around 45 minutes and recorded three separate videos, each showing the same issue. This seems to be a serious mechanical problem that requires engineering-level intervention, but Kia Motors insists it’s normal.
Engine Alarm Sound:
Lastly, the engine produces a weird alarm-like sound at regular intervals. This was the only issue that Kia Motors acknowledged and promised to fix. I was told to expect a call back within 2 days, but its been over a week now, and I’m still waiting for a resolution.
Overall, while the car itself may have good potential, the poor after-sales service and the company’s reluctance to address these issues are deeply concerning. As a customer, the lack of proper support is disappointing and makes me question the reliability of the brand moving forward.
