Good Car
Jan 07 2025The exterior of this car is quite uninspiring. Having owned it for a full 8 years, I’ve experienced everything about this Swift. One major issue is the AC compressor, which can be very expensive to replace—around 2 lakhs for a new one. However, I managed to buy a used compressor for just 10k, and the AC performance is superb.
Comfort-wise, it’s amazing, with great legroom and headroom, even better than the new City. The performance is also excellent, especially now that I’ve swapped in a Swift Sport engine with a turbo and tune about a year ago. The handling is incredible, and it’s fantastic value for money.
Before the engine swap, the car gave me a fuel average of 12 km/l. After the swap, it ped to 9 km/l but has now improved to 14 km/l, which is impressive given the added power. Overall, I’m thrilled with the upgrades and performance.
