The 1st Generation Toyota Premio was introduced in December 2001 as a front engine front/four-wheel drive subcompact sedan. It succeeded the Toyota Corona and the Toyota Premio. The vehicle was available in three variants - X, F, and G - and was produced for seven years until 2007. However, the price of the Toyota Premio 1st Generation was not competitive compared to other models in the same class available in the local market.
Exterior
The 1st Generation Toyota Premio features a minimalistic design language on the exterior. It has side-swept trapezium-styled headlights, a trapezium-shaped chrome front grille, a small rectangular air intake, and standard circular fog lights on the front bumper. The rear end has side-swept trapezium-styled taillights with rectangular insets, a chrome trim piece running across the center of the trunk, and a standard case rear bumper.
