Lahore Green Sticker Policy: No Access Without It - Details

The Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has officially enforced the Lahore Green Sticker Policy, making it mandatory for vehicles to pass an emission test before being allowed road access. According to Director General Imran Hamid Sheikh, vehicles found without the required green sticker will face strict penalties. This step aligns with the campaign against pollution and smog in the city, ensuring cleaner air and healthier surroundings.

First Phase of Implementation
In the initial phase, vehicles manufactured between 2010 and 2015 are under close inspection. Warning slips are being issued to such vehicles as part of the Lahore Vehicle Green Sticker Rule. EPA spokesperson Sajid Bashir explained that these slips are being sent along with e-challans. After the second warning, motorists will face fines and legal actions, ensuring that the Green Sticker Mandatory Lahore initiative is taken seriously.

Large-Scale Emission Testing
The EPA has established multiple testing booths to ensure smooth checks of petrol and diesel vehicles. So far, more than 350,000 cars have successfully received the Lahore Green Sticker for Cars after passing the emission test. The inspection covers engines, silencers, and catalytic converters, making sure that all vehicles meet the Lahore Traffic Green Sticker Requirement.

Road Ban Without Green Sticker
Authorities have made it clear that during smog season, vehicles without the green sticker will not be permitted on city roads. The slogan is simple: No Green Sticker No Entry Lahore. Checkpoints are being set up for monitoring, and the Lahore Vehicle Sticker Checkpoints will strictly deny access to violators. The Green Sticker Road Access Lahore rule will apply to both private and commercial vehicles.

Citizens Urged to Comply
The EPA has urged citizens to get their vehicles tested at the nearest booths as soon as possible. Officials also confirmed that a standard fee for the green sticker will be announced soon. Failure to comply may result in fines, legal action, or even the impounding of vehicles under the Green Sticker Lahore Roads Ban. For now, the message is clear: Lahore Road Access Without Sticker will no longer be possible, and compliance is the only way forward.
