Suzuki Alto Gets a Price Hike - New Costs Rs. 3,326,446

Pak Suzuki Motor Company has officially increased the prices of its entire vehicle range, including popular models like Suzuki Alto, Swift, Every, Cultus, and Ravi. The most noticeable surge is in the Suzuki Alto and Every Prices, which have faced the steepest price hikes in this Suzuki Alto Update.

Alto 2025 Price Faces Sharpest Jump
Among all the vehicles, the Alto 2025 Price has seen the biggest increase, affecting car buyers nationwide. While models like the Swift experienced a relatively modest jump — with its top variant rising by Rs. 47,190 — the Alto Latest Price skyrocketed by nearly four times that amount.

Why Suzuki Alto and Every Faced the Biggest Price Hikes
Among all the Suzuki models impacted by the latest price revision, Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Every experienced the steepest increases. While all variants have seen some adjustment, these two models stand out with the most significant hikes.

To illustrate, the top variant of the Suzuki Swift recorded a relatively modest price jump of around Rs. 47,190. In comparison, the top variant of the Alto saw a hike nearly four times higher, while Every’s top variant wasn’t far behind. The comparison table below highlights the stark difference.

The significant price hike in Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Every is mainly due to the recent increase in General Sales Tax (GST). As per the 2025–26 federal budget, the government has raised the GST from 12.5% to 18% on vehicles with engine capacities of 850cc or below. Since both Alto and Every fall within this category, they are now affected by two tax changes — the additional 5.5% GST and a newly imposed 1% NEV levy.

In comparison, other Suzuki models like the Swift and Cultus, which have engines above 850cc, are only subject to the 1% NEV levy and are exempt from the GST increase. Meanwhile, the Suzuki Ravi, despite its smaller 800cc engine, already carried an 18% GST due to its classification as a commercial vehicle — so it hasn't seen any additional tax hike.

This taxation difference clearly explains why Alto and Every prices surged more sharply than other Suzuki models.
