Air University Students Make Energy Efficient Electric Car

The students of the Air University have manufactured the energy efficient electricity car ‘Markhor’ and this car was launched in car& ,Bike Show, which was managed at Giga Mall. This is the wonderful project prepared by team, ‘Mech The Tech MTT and the final year students of Department of Mechatronics of Air University Islamabad are included.

The head of the team, Muzammil Imran talked with media and said that the Markhor project will design and fabricate the prototype energy efficient electric car. He said that there is no poisonous emission and no harm to the atmosphere and this prototype is the environment friendly car. The faculty advisor and other team members like Saad Sheikh, Ahsan Aslam, Yahya Abrar Khan, Abdul Ghani Zahid, Bassim Faridy, Sayed Usama Sabir, Aden Salim and Hammas Ahmed were also present there.

The prototype model was prepared with the iterative calculations and the design revisions. The team leader told that the solid modeling and analysis were performed to validate the design before the fabrication has been done. It is also added that the estimated target mileage for Markhor car is 550 km/kWh and the winner in this category got the mileage of 496 km / kWh.
The students hoped that the prototype will compete with various international teams in Shell Eco Marathon Asia 2018 and challenges the teams of the students around the world in its built, design, test and drive ultra energy efficient cars. The students of Air University prepared this electric car and they got the attention of the crowd in this show.
