Balochistan Pink Scooters Scheme for Female Students
On Friday, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti launched the Balochistan Pink Scooters Scheme, an initiative designed to empower female students across the province. The launch event saw the distribution of 50 pink scooters to students at the Government Girls Postgraduate Degree College. This bold move is part of a broader effort to promote education and mobility for women in Balochistan, encouraging greater participation in academic and professional pursuits.
During the ceremony, CM Bugti announced that the Pink Scooter Scheme for Female Students would extend its benefits to all deserving female students in Balochistan. Every talented and position-holding female student in the province would receive a pink scooter to support their educational journey. Additionally, the scheme is inclusive of female teachers and working women, marking a significant milestone as it is the first time such a program has been introduced in Balochistan.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of empowering women, stating that an educated and active female population contributes significantly to the overall progress of the community. He cited the growing influence of women in leadership roles, particularly the success of female deputy commissioners in Balochistan, as a testament to the positive impact of women’s participation in society. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to bridging gender gaps and ensuring equal opportunities for women in the region.
The Balochistan Female Student Pink Scooters Scheme aims not only to provide transportation but also to foster a sense of independence and mobility among women. By offering this valuable support, the initiative encourages female students to continue their education without the barriers of transportation limitations. The scooters represent a symbol of empowerment, offering women the freedom to pursue their studies and careers with ease.
The event concluded with a lucky draw, where 48 students were immediately given their scooters, while the remaining two recipients will receive theirs the following week. The Pink Scooters for Female Students in Balochistan are expected to make a significant impact, ensuring that women across the province have access to the tools they need for a brighter future.
