Nissan’s First PHEV Sedan N6 Hits the Market

Nissan has officially introduced the Nissan N6 PHEV, marking a major step forward in its hybrid strategy for China. This next-generation model is produced under the Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFN), the brand’s long-standing joint venture in the region. Designed as a Nissan Plug-In Hybrid Sedan with premium styling and advanced electrification, the new N6 strengthens Nissan’s presence in the fast-growing hybrid segment.

Built on Advanced Tianyan Architecture
The Nissan N6 Sedan is the first vehicle developed using the all-new Tianyan Architecture—an NEV platform co-created by Nissan and Dongfeng. This modern foundation enables better stability, higher efficiency, and smoother performance, helping the N6 take its place among top Nissan Hybrid Vehicles entering the market in 2025. Its debut also highlights Nissan’s shift toward the Next-Gen Nissan Hybrid lineup designed for long-term sustainability.

Efficient Plug-In Hybrid System With Record Performance
Powering the Nissan Electric Hybrid Sedan is a 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with a 21.1 kWh LFP battery. The brand claims fuel consumption of below 2 liters per 100 km and an impressive EV-only range of up to 180 km. This standout range has reportedly earned the N6 a Guinness World Record. Even better, the battery supports ultra-fast charging, reaching full power in under 20 minutes—one of the strongest highlights of the Nissan N6 PHEV Launch.

Premium Exterior and Immersive Interior Design
The N6 sports a sleek, modern exterior with sharp LED headlights and distinctive “Hurricane-Eye” 3D taillights, giving the sedan a bold and futuristic character. Inside, Nissan offers a luxurious 360-degree wraparound cabin crafted with 85% soft-touch materials. A massive 15.6-inch 2.5K display paired with the Xiao Ni AI assistant enhances the smart experience. Comfort takes center stage with AI Zero-Pressure Cloud Cushion front seats and a matching rear sofa, delivering a premium feel similar to soft, gel-based leather. Customers can choose between elegant interior themes like Off-White or Elegant Black, while exterior colors include Sunlight Gold, Hyacinth Purple, Flowing Silver, Obsidian Black, Rock Grey, and Pearl White.

Advanced Tech and Pricing Options
At the core of its intelligent features, the N6 uses Qualcomm’s automotive-grade Snapdragon 8775 chip and a next-generation driver assistance suite co-developed with Momenta. This enables seamless support during city driving, highways, and even parking situations. Nissan offers the N6 in five variants: 180 Air, 180 Pro, 180 Max, 180 Max+, and the top-tier 170 Max+. Prices fall between CNY 100,000 and CNY 130,000, with early deliveries expected to begin soon.
