BYD Officially Launches the Seal 06 GT

The Seal 06 GT is built on BYD's cutting-edge e-platform 3.0 Evo, offering buyers a choice between single and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor versions deliver either 160 kW (215 hp) with 310 Nm of torque or 165 kW (221 hp) with 330 Nm of torque. For those seeking higher performance, the dual-motor variant provides a combined output of 310 kW (416 hp), enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.

Impressive Battery and Charging Capabilities
Battery options for the Seal 06 GT include a 59.52 kWh pack and a larger 72.96 kWh pack, providing ranges of 505 km and 605 km, respectively, under the CLTC standard. The vehicle features an 800 V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, allowing rapid charging. It can charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes, with further optimization enabling a charge from 80% to 100% in only 18 minutes.

Stylish Design and Advanced Interior Features
Measuring 4.63 meters in length, 1.88 meters in width, and 1.49 meters in height, the Seal 06 GT offers a spacious and stylish interior. Buyers can choose from shell white or twilight blue color schemes. The cabin features a 15.6-inch adaptive floating screen, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a 12-inch head-up display. Additionally, wireless charging and the DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit system enhance the driving experience.

Competitive Pricing and Market Positioning
BYD positions the Seal 06 GT between its Dolphin and Seal models, aiming for a pre-sale price range of RMB 150,000 to RMB 200,000 (€19,060 to €25,400). This pricing strategy targets a broad audience, offering an attractive option for those seeking a high-performance, all-electric hatchback.
