Honda Elevate Debuts in South African Market
The Honda Elevate, which first appeared in India, has now entered the South African market, which operates on the right-hand drive system. This SUV, produced in India, is being shipped to South Africa.
In South Africa, the Honda Elevate model is identical in design to its Indian counterpart. It boasts an L-shaped LED taillight design, LED headlamps flanking a wide, tall grille, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The interior is entirely black and includes automated climate control, a digital instrument cluster, and a wireless charger. However, the South African version lacks the 10.25-inch touchscreen and ADAS present in the India-spec model.
The South African Honda Elevate features the same powertrain as its Indian counterpart: a 1.5L petrol engine generating 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. In South Africa, the 2024 Honda Elevate is available in two variants: Elegance and Comfort. The base price is ZAR 369,900 (PKR 53.61 lac), while the flagship variant is priced at ZAR 429,900 (PKR 62.31 lac).
