Most Expensive Car Number Plate in Excise Dept’s History

For 2017, new and unique number plates were recently auctioned by Department of Excise and Taxation. Auction of such numbers is held every year due to high demand where the enthusiasts bought these numbers at high prices.
The recent auction was held in Lahore during which 0.71 million remained the highest bid. In the history of all bids by Excise & Taxation department, this proved to be the most expensive bid. Following are the rates of bids for auctioned number plates:
• Number “1” was sold for Rs. 0.71 million.
• Winning bid for number “5” went for Rs. 0.29 million.
• Plate number “786” was auctioned for Rs. 0.23 million.
• Number “3” was auctioned for Rs. 0.21 million.
• Number “7” was sold for Rs. 0.19 million.
• Plate number “4” was auctioned at Rs. 0.18 million.
• Plate number “8” was auctioned for Rs. 0. 165 million.
• Number “2” was auctioned at Rs. 0.12 million.
• Winning bid for number “6” remained at Rs. 0.13 million.
• Number “10” was also won by the bidder for Rs. 0.13 million.
Today, several new and unique numbers will be presented for bid and the information regarding their details will be presented tomorrow.
Apart from that, a spokesman of the Motor Registering Authority Faisalabad told that number plates of FD-17, FDU-17 and FSD-17 will be presented for auction tomorrow.
