According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, the Motorway Police E-Ticketing App introduces a points-based system to promote responsible driving. Drivers accumulating points for repeated violations will face license suspensions once they reach a set limit. This approach aims to instill discipline and foster safer road practices among drivers, directly contributing to reduced accidents and better traffic flow.

The Motorway Road Safety App simplifies the registration process for drivers with auto-filled details, saving time and effort. In addition to improving convenience, the app aids in tracking stolen vehicles, thereby bolstering security across the highway network. Expanding Infrastructure and Achievements

During the 28th anniversary of the National Highways and Motorways Police, IG Motorways Salman Choudhry highlighted the network's growth from 366 kilometers in 1997 to over 4,500 kilometers today. With plans to expand further across all provinces, the police are also adopting advanced technologies, including radars, speed guns, and ambulances, to ensure smooth and safe journeys for travelers. The Motorway E-Ticketing App is a key part of this modernization effort.

Commitment to Efficiency and Tribute to Heroes

IG Salman Choudhry emphasized the Motorway Police's commitment to digital transformation, revealing that the force is already 97% paperless and plans to adopt a fully cashless system. Despite challenges like axle load management, 95% of the regulations are now implemented. He also paid tribute to fallen officers, including a sub-inspector martyred in the line of duty, reaffirming the dedication and sacrifices of the force to ensure public safety. The Motorway Police App stands as a testament to their ongoing efforts to improve road safety and efficiency.
