Government Reduces Fuel Prices to Provide Relief

In a bid to alleviate financial pressure on the public, the federal government has announced a significant reduction in fuel prices. According to the latest notification from the finance division, the Petrol Prices in Pakistan has been decreased by Rs. 1.86 per liter, bringing it down to Rs. 259.10 per liter.

Diesel and Kerosene Oil Price Cuts
High-speed diesel (HSD) has also seen a substantial reduction of Rs. 3.32 per liter, setting the new price at Rs. 262.75 per liter. Similarly, kerosene oil has been lowered by Rs. 2.15 per liter, now priced at Rs. 169.62 per liter. These reductions are expected to provide relief to both consumers and businesses that rely heavily on these fuels for daily operations.

Light Diesel Oil Price Adjustment
The government has also decreased the price of Light Speed Diesel (LSD) by Rs. 2.97 per liter, bringing it down to Rs. 154.05 per liter. This adjustment will benefit various sectors, including agriculture and transportation, where light diesel oil is extensively used.
