Two New Electric Bus Routes Launched in Islamabad - Info

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the launch of two additional Islamabad Electric Bus Routes, further strengthening the city’s eco-friendly transport system. As part of the growing CDA Electric Bus Service, these routes will connect more commuters to key destinations across the capital.

Details of the New Routes

The CDA has confirmed that two fresh lines will soon be added to the growing network of Islamabad Electric Bus Routes. These new services are aimed at improving daily commuting convenience and connecting more areas to the CDA Electric Bus Service.

The newly announced routes are:

G-9 Karachi Company to Faizabad
Nilor to Khannapul

Passenger Capacity and Future Expansion

At present, around 120 buses are active daily, serving nearly 60,000 riders. With depot upgrades in progress and the full fleet of 170 buses expected to be deployed soon, daily ridership is projected to cross 100,000.
