United Bravo: A Cheap Chinese Imitation

United Bravo: A Cheap Chinese Imitation

Now days the photo of united Bravo Hathback has been revolving on the internet. You might have already known about the new hatchback that will be challenging the Suzuki mehran. United said that the car will come with all the techs and gadgets that you want and the price will be low as compared to all the other hatchbacks in Pakistan.
It is no doubt great that we Pakistanis are getting more option to choose from Hyundai, KIA and datsun are among those who wants to bring their cars in Pakistan.
But the issue is that do we need any cheaper car as we already have mehran to bring us all the pain.

What are you getting into; it’s a cheaply made car use to transport people from one place to another. There is no high tech and no safety features in mehran. High tech stuff means fewer things go wrong in an already cheap car.
And now here we are getting another cheap car that is going to have a lot of features in small price. The thing I’m feared of is car breaking down. In the middle of your motorway trip your digital meter goes down, the power window going haywire after a car wash, after few days the touch infotainment system stops working o r the bumpers falling down after a hundred mile trip in rural areas.
The main concern is going to be the longevity and durability of bravo.
When you deals with Suzuki you at least get 3s dealership network. And if you don’t have dealership near you, anyone can fix it. With this bravo the engine is the same as 3 pot mehran motor, but what about the electric being installed in the car, how local mechanic is going to set your car.
And comparing this car with other companies like isn’t fair. The bravo has nothing like faw, faw is a good car and it has proven itself in Pakistan. There are so many other Chinese companies like faw, dongfeng, foton and jac that have collaborated with the renowned international automakers, and they assembled the cars under their assistance. Bravo is a renamed version of dahe and all dahe only make Volkswagen look alike vehicles, even the dh350s is based on old Suzuki hatchback.

In the end I would say that mehran isn’t a great car but it meets to our needs, do we need another mehran like car that stops working after some years.

We can only hope that the new bravo lives up and meets the expectations of the Pakistani automotives who are waiting to buy it.
