Islamabad Pink Buses for Women Route

In a pivotal development aimed at boosting educational access and improving daily transportation, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has rolled out a new initiative titled “No Fare No Barrier,” following directives from the Prime Minister. This new program will see the introduction of 20 distinctive pink buses designed to facilitate the travel of female students and educators between rural areas and urban centers in Islamabad.

Routes Covered by the New Bus Service

This vehicles initiative includes a series of specific routes exclusively intended for female students and teaching staff:
  • Pink Busses Route 1-A: From Nilore to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
  • Pink Busses Route 1-B: From Nilore (Ziarat Stop) to the Secretariat
  • Pink Busses Route 2-A: From Bhara Kau to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS (passing through F-6)
  • Pink Busses Route 2-B: From Bhara Kau to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS (via G-6)
  • Pink Busses Route 3-A: From Humak to the Secretariat
  • Pink Busses Route 3-B: From Humak to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
  • Pink Busses Route 4-A: From I-14 (IJP Road) to the Secretariat
  • Pink Busses Route 4-B: From I-14 (IJP Road) to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
  • Pink Busses Route 5-A: From B-17 to the Secretariat (via Margalla Avenue)
  • Pink Busses Route 5-B: From B-17 to the Secretariat (via GT Road, G-14)

Timetable for Bus Operations

To provide optimal convenience for female students and educators, the Pink Buses will operate in sync with school schedules. Morning service will be available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, while the afternoon service will run from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. This timing is intended to match school hours and minimize waiting periods.
