Punjab Excise Starts Vanity Plate Registration

The Punjab Excise Vanity Plate Registration is officially underway, allowing cars owners to apply for vanity plates in Punjab. This new service enables applicants to select custom numbers for their vehicles through a simple online process. The registration began with a strong response, receiving 60 applications on the first day. Interested individuals can easily submit their requests via the eAuction app, which is accessible through the vanity plate portal.

According to Excise Director General Umar Sher Chattha, out of the 60 applications, 57 were for the Platinum category, while three were for the Gold category. Interestingly, no applications have been received for the Corporate category yet. The Vanity Plate Punjab Excise offers a unique opportunity for vehicle owners to showcase personalized plates, but the costs vary depending on the category selected.

The Platinum vanity plate, consisting of eight characters, is priced at Rs. 5 million, while the Gold vanity plate, which includes six characters, costs Rs. 500,000. Vanity Plate Registration in Punjab is also open to national and international companies, which can participate by depositing Rs. 10 million each. Applicants must submit their preferred numbers through eAuction and ensure that the fee is paid within three days of application submission.

A scrutiny committee will thoroughly review and approve the chosen numbers before they are officially added to the eAuction system. Once the eAuction process is complete, the Punjab vanity plate registration system will provide successful buyers with their personalized plates.

Punjab's Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, is set to inaugurate the first eAuction event. After her inauguration, the Vanity Plate Registration process Punjab Excise will continue, with vanity plates being distributed to the winning bidders.
